6 weeks

My, my how time flies. I can't believe it's been 6 weeks since our precious angel came into this world. I am still working on my birth story and plan to post here as soon as it's done. It's pretty long and very detailed but I wanted it to be, so that I would remember when she is older.

In a nutshell, being parents is hard and very, very exhausting but in the same manner very, very rewarding. Waking up to Hannah with her eyes locked on us in the morning is by far the best feeling in the world. No words can explain the joy I feel when she stares into my eyes or just recognizes my voice or face. Awww.....it's amazing.

I had my 6 week check up yesterday and I am good to go! Healed well and am getting an IUD put in in about 4 weeks. No way I would remember to take a pill everyday, no way now!

Easter was Hannah's first outing and it was fun but she had a rough night - too much stimulation for her little body. My birthday was the first time I left her with someone other than Tim, I cried for a bit but really enjoyed myself with Tim at dinner.
