Our first ultrasound!

Tim and I went into the doctor today to "validate" our pregnancy! The doctor asked for us to do an ultrasound just to make sure that baby is ok. We went into the little ultrasound room and I undressed from the bottom down and the ultrasound tech came in and we began. Almost immediately when she put the probe thingy on my belly you could see the baby. He was just chilling, waiting there. It was so amazing to see. She immediately showed us the heart and it was beating...fast...strong (I was most nervous about that) and then we were actually able to hear it. No words can describe hearing your babies heartbeat for the first time. It was almost calming like he was saying "I'm O.K. Mom and Dad....don't worries!". Awwww....I will remember that moment forever! The technician did some measurements and told me that I may be measuring 8 weeks and not 9 weeks. She was going to give them to Dr. Hunt for her review. The tech said that my due date may be March 28th now as apposed to March 22nd. It's only a week difference so we were fine with that. We were able to get 3 pictures and then she was done. What an amazing day!

Oh and how silly, Tim and I were in the waiting room and Jessica walked in. She goes to the same OB/GYN that I do! It was almost as if God sent me another family member to help calm me down...I was a nervous wreck! I get teary thinking about that. It's almost like God could have placed anyone there but he knows my bond with Jessica is like sisters so I am glad he did his work. Miracles! Love you Jessica!!
